PAINT PROTECTION FILM IN CENTENNIAL, CO
PPF PACKAGES
Centennial drivers put a lot of highway and mountain miles on their vehicles, and both are hard on paint. The daily I-25 and Tech Center commute means heavy, fast traffic and constant construction debris, while E-470 and C-470 are open, high-speed roads where gravel and rock chips fly. Then there's the weekend run to the mountains — C-470 to I-70 in winter is one of the worst stretches for paint anywhere, thanks to traction sand, gravel, and mag chloride de-icer chewing at your front end.
Paint protection film is built for exactly that mix. Summit Customs installs 3M™ Pro Series PPF — a clear, self-healing layer that absorbs chips, abrasion, and chemical etching so your paint stays flawless. It's a popular choice for the luxury, performance, and EV vehicles common around Centennial and the DTC, where protecting factory paint protects resale value. We're an easy drive up I-25 from Centennial at our Commerce City studio.

Protecting a luxury or performance car means the installer matters as much as the film itself. Summit Customs is a certified 3M Pro Shop, which means our team has completed 3M's rigorous manufacturer training and cuts every job from 3M's Pattern & Solutions Software — precision templates matched to your exact make, model, and year, with no hand-cutting on your paint. Each install of 3M™ Paint Protection Film Pro Series carries a manufacturer warranty against yellowing, bubbling, and peeling, built for Colorado's freeze-thaw winters and high-altitude sun. For Centennial drivers protecting a high-value vehicle, that certification is the line between film that vanishes into the paint and film that disappoints.
Benefits of Paint Protection Film
The Tech Center commute punishes front ends. Daily I-25 miles through DTC traffic and construction zones throw constant debris at your bumper, hood, and mirrors. A front-end PPF package takes the hits so your paint doesn't.
Mountain trips are brutal on paint. The C-470-to-I-70 ski run means traction sand, gravel, and mag chloride de-icer in winter — a combination that sandblasts and etches an unprotected front end. PPF gives it a sacrificial shield for every trip to the slopes.
Made for luxury, performance, and EVs. Centennial and the DTC are full of high-value vehicles where keeping factory paint pristine directly protects resale. PPF is one of the smartest protective upgrades for those cars.
High-speed toll roads add up. E-470 and C-470 are open, fast highways with heavy traffic and gravel. The more highway miles you log, the more a front-end package pays for itself.
Common Questions About Paint Protection Film
How much does PPF cost for a luxury or sports car?
Larger and higher-end vehicles take more film and more labor, so they run higher than a compact car, and coverage level matters most — a front-end package costs far less than a full wrap. Because patterns differ by model, we quote each vehicle directly; see our PPF pricing guide or call for an estimate.
Does paint protection film protect against winter road salt and mag chloride?
On the painted surfaces it covers, yes. The mag chloride de-icer and traction sand on the I-70 mountain corridor etch and abrade unprotected paint, and PPF takes that punishment instead of your finish — one of the top reasons Centennial skiers protect their front ends.
What does a clear bra cover on a car?
"Clear bra" is the common name for front-end PPF. A typical clear bra covers the front bumper, and often the hood, fenders, mirrors, and headlights — the panels that absorb the most rock chips. You can scale coverage up to a full-front or full-vehicle wrap depending on how much protection you want.
Can you apply a ceramic coating over PPF?
Yes, and it's a great combination. A ceramic coating over your film adds gloss, water-beading, and easier cleaning, and it helps protect the PPF itself. Many Centennial drivers pair the two for the most complete protection.
How soon should I get PPF on a new car?
As soon as possible — ideally before you put real miles on it. Applying film to fresh factory paint locks in that finish before chips and swirls start. On an older car, we'll decontaminate and, if needed, correct the paint first so the film goes on a clean surface.
